This study undertakes an eco-efficiency analysis of alternative configurations of a carbon neutral hybrid building, where variations in performance are explored across: different types of residential structure (detached, medium density, high-rise), different energy ratings of the shell, the number and mix of domestic appliances in use and the type of distributed generation technology employed. The most prospective intervention points for delivering carbon neutral residential development are identified. |

Consuming the Urban Environment.
Determinants of Urban Resource Consumption in Australian Cities |
The research is expected to identify and apportion, for the first time, the strength of each major cluster of influences - individual discretionary, household context, dwelling context and spatial context – to urban resource consumption. This will provide an evidence-based platform for a range of government, industry and community initiatives focused on winding back currently unsustainable levels of urban resource consumption in the 21st century. |

The project aims to increase understanding and co-operation between Vietnamese Australians and Victoria Police. The project aims are to increase knowledge of:
- Effective community policing with Vietnamese Australians and other ethnic minorities
- Risk, safety and security issues for Vietnamese Australians
- How to increase trust between Vietnamese Australians and Victoria Police
- Comparisons between Victoria Police policy and practice with international models of best practice in community policing with ethnic minorities
