Publications - Ten Thoughts on Networking
- Networking is a life skill, not something we do
only when we want something from someone else
- Networking is the basis for long-term associations:
see yourself as a partner, not a predator
- Network is quality driven: take the time to listen,
reciprocate, share and establish rapport
- Networking gives abundant opportunities
- Exchange learnings; build ties
- To be successful, networking must be of mutual
benefit to all concerned
- Quality and integrity are vital ingredients
- Listening is critical, not just for information,
but ideas, inspiration and insight
- Think about trust, not trade; relationships, not
transactions; giving not taking
- Give without expectation
