Publications - Engineering a better Workplace
This
practical manual is full of strategies that draw
on the efforts, frustrations and successes
of those who have been working
for many years toward a better engineering workplace.
The manual includes quizzes, case studies, definitions, models
(for example, on presenting a business case for diversity) and
checklists.
How can I get a copy? Engineering a Better Workplace was
published and launched in December 2000. Copies are available
from the National Centre for Gender and Cultural Diversity for
$30 (includes postage and handling). Phone Sian Marlow on (03)
9214 8660 or write to smarlow@swin.edu.au to
order your copy.
Engineering a Better Workplace was written by Sue Lewis,
Ros Harris and Barbara Cox. The project was an initiative of
the National Women in Engineering Committee, The Institution
of Engineers, Australia (funded by the Office for the Status
of Women).
