Projects - WAVE (Women Advancing Through Vocational Education)

In November 2000, we took over maintenance of the Women Advancing through Vocational Education (WAVE) web site: www.swin.edu.au/wave.

The WAVE website developed out of an important research project conducted by Christine Owen and Annie Rushton for the Centre for Research and Learning in Regional Australia at the University of Tasmania, commissioned by the Equity Standards Branch of the Tasmanian Department of Education and funded by Australian National Training Authority (ANTA).

The site contains an extensive network of links to support women seeking careers or study in non-traditional and emerging areas.
