Events - Swinburne Housing Residential 2004

Graduate Certificate of Social Science (Housing Management and Policy)
The annual housing course residential was held at the Hawthorn campus
between 22 and 24 July 2004 for second year students.
This year's program featured:
- The theme: "Doing something different
or doing something differently?"
The residential provided an opportunity to explore
two current trends: new models and improved management
approaches in social housing, and integrate them
with requisite coursework.
- Professor Duncan MacLennan from Glasgow, and currently
chief economist with the Victorian Department of
Sustainability and Environment, was the keynote speaker.
- Subject workshops.
