Ken Young

Ken is the manager of Youthworx, an innovative youth participation project that connects marginalised and disadvantaged young people to Melbourne's innovative and exciting new youth community radio station 90.7 SYN-FM and other new media opportunities.

Ken has been involved in community education and development for more than 20 years, working in both rural and urban settings with a special interest in youth affairs, particularly youth homelessness and youth employment.

Ken has published and spoken widely on the role of community information and public access to information and communication technologies in community development particularly as a mechanism for engaging disenfranchised groups.
