Lorenzo Veracini has studied history and historiography in Italy and the UK before moving to Australia in the late 1990s. His research interests include the comparative history of colonial systems, settler colonialism, settler societies, transnational history, and Australian history and historiography. Lorenzo holds a QEII fellowship and is currently writing a global history of settler colonialism.
