Dr Lise Saugeres

BA (Bordeaux), MA (Bordeaux), MA (Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada), PhD (Manchester)

Lise is a Research Fellow currently working on an AHURI funded project on Housing Assistance and Economic Participation. She has previously worked as a Research Associate in Housing on the Social Construction of the Occupational Role of Housing Management at Cardiff University (UK); and as a Research Fellow in Sociology and Social Policy at the University of Leeds (UK) working on a project on Women and Work Decisions, and in Women's Studies doing research on Women’s Reproductive Decisions at Monash University.

Lises’s main research interests are gender, feminist theory, welfare, social disadvantage, housing, identity and discourse analysis.
