Dr Ellie Rennie

Ellie Rennie is a Research Fellow in the ISR, working in the areas of media policy and community communication. She joined the ISR in 2006 as the full-time researcher on Youthworx: Youth Media and Social Enterprise (with Denise Meredyth, Julian Thomas and David MacKenzie) which forms part of the program of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Creative Industries and Innovation. Ellie Rennie is author of Community Media: A Global Introduction (Rowman & Littlefield, 2006). She is also co-vice chair of the Community Communication section of the International Association of Media and Communication Research.
