Caroline Neske
BA (Psychology), GradDipAppSocResearch (Monash), MA (Applied Social
Research) (Monash)
Caroline graduated from Monash University in 1995 with a Bachelor of
Arts majoring in psychology. After working and travelling in Europe for
four years she returned to Monash University, gaining a Master of Arts
in Applied Social Research in 2002. Her thesis was commissioned by the
Victorian Women's Trust and involved the exploration of water issues
within the community.
Caroline has been employed in the Cities and Housing stream of the ISR
since September 2002. In addition to working on various AHURI projects,
she has undertaken the statistical analysis for numerous housing affordability
studies for local councils, the most recent of which are for the Bass
Coast Shire and the Shire of Yarra Ranges.
Caroline is currently working on the AHURI project "Long-Term Housing
Futures for Australia", as well as housing strategies for two local
councils and a project for the Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet
investigating housing affordability indicators. She is also the project
manager for research being undertaken for the TAFE Marketing Department
at Swinburne, determining enrolled students' perceptions of their courses.
