Tim Corney
BA (Deakin), Dip A&T(Melb), MA (RMIT)
Tim is a senior manager at Incolink, a trust involving
the trade unions and building employers. He responsibility for 17 staff
across various education and welfare support programs as well as research
on industry policy and youth issues. Incolink projects are normally undertaken
through community partnerships. His Master’s project examined the
pedagogical foundations of Australian youth work degree courses. Tim
is professionally active in the youth policy field and on a number of
industry bodies. He has coauthored four report monographs, five peer
reviewed journal articles as well as other presentations and articles.
His PhD (in progress) is comparing the pedagogy and roles of teachers
and youth workers in the context of the emergence of ‘full-service’ schools.
