Lise is a Research Fellow currently in her last year of an AHURI (Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute) Postdoctoral Fellowship, currently working on a longitudinal qualitative study of women in public housing and employment.  Since she has been at the ISR, she has worked on other AHURI funded projects on housing insecurity and precarious living, housing and disability, and housing assistance and economic participation.   Lise has had considerable experience of conducting multidisciplinary and international qualitative research.  After having obtained her PhD in Human Geography in Manchester (UK), she worked as a Research Associate in housing at the University of Cardiff and as a Research Fellow in Sociology and Social Policy at the University of Leeds and in Sociology and Women’s Studies at Monash University.
