Josefine Raasch is a PhD student involved with the Institute’s Social Memory and Historical Justice Project. Josefine’s research project is situated between individual concepts of justice and collective memory. She investigates German teenagers’ construction of ‘concepts of historical justice’ and, related to this, shows teenagers’ influences in making a collective memory.

Josefine completed a combined Magister Degree (M.A.) in Social Anthropology and Education at Humboldt-University to Berlin, Germany. She worked there also for some years as a tutor and research assistant. Earlier she worked with children as a physiotherapist for several years
