Aneta is a Research Fellow in the Communication and Creativity program/flagship at the Institute for Social Research at Swinburne University, where she is conducting an ethnography of the Melbourne-based youth media project YouthWorx. She completed a PhD on translation in media-based environments in the EU and Australia at the Faculty of Creative Industries, Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane in 2008. Prior to that, she studied linguistics, cultural studies and economy at universities in Poland, Germany and Spain.
