Ian McShane is a research fellow at the ISR. He has published in the fields of museology, social history, education, social infrastructure and public policy. Ian has a Masters degree in education and completed his PhD on the provision and management of community infrastructure in 2008. Ian has a background as a museum curator and public sector manager, working for the National Museum of Australia for ten years. He has consulted in the areas of museums and heritage, education, and industry training.
