After nearly a quarter of a century working in human resources for large organisations, Christopher Baker left the corporate world in 2003. Over 2004/05 he completed a Graduate Diploma in Social Science at Swinburne’s Asia Pacific Center for Social Investment and Philanthropy. Inspired by the program and by his experience as a Board Member of The Salvation Army Employment Plus, Christopher returned to Swinburne in 2006 as a PhD candidate where he has been researching charitable giving from personal estates. Christopher’s tertiary qualifications include an Arts Degree (Griffith University), a Dip Ed (La Trobe University) and an MBA (Durham University Business School)
